SECTION 2.6 CONDENSER, 68KR2/3--101 SERIES

INTRODUCTION

The Carrier T ransicold model68KR2/3series condens-

ersareoflightweightframeconstruction,designedtobe

installed on the vehicle roof.

CONFIGURATION IDENTIFICATION

Unit identification information is provided on a plate lo-

cated inside the condenser. The plate provides the unit

model number, the unit serialnumber and the unit parts

identification number (PID). The model number identi-

fies the overall unit configurationwhile the PIDprovides

information on specific optional equipment and differ-

ences in detailed parts.

This section provides a description of and a tabular list-

ing of unit model numbers and PID numbers to assist

thereaderinidentifyingtheequipmentsupplied andany

required service parts.

OPTION DESCRIPTION

Various options may be factory or field equipped to the

base unit. These options are listedin thetables and de-

scribed in the following subparagraphs.

Cover Kit

Thetopcoverisdesignedtoallow fordifferentmounting

arrangements on high roof radius, low roof radius and

flat roof configurations.

Elecrical Kit

The unit may be fitted with 12 or 24 volt fan motors, or

with, or without in--line fuse assemblies.
