SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
Installation of this accessory can be hazardous due to sys-
tem pressures, electrical components, and equipment location
(such as a roof or elevated structure).
Only trained, qualified installers and service mechanics
should install and service this equipment.
When installing this accessory, observe precautions in the
literature, labels attached to the equipment, and other safety
precautions that apply.
• Follow all safety codes.
• Wear safety glasses and work gloves.
• Use care when handling and installing this accessory.
GENERAL
The ground-fault circuit interrupter convenience outlet
(GFI-CO) accessory provides two auxiliary 115 v, 60 Hz out-
lets for portable computers, lights, small hand tools and other
devices. The current output is limited to 4 amps. See Table 1
for specific package applications.
Table 1 — Accessory Package Usage
Check each item for shipping damage. If any damage is
found, file a claim with the shipping agent immediately. If any
item is missing or if any part does not assemble properly, notify
your Carrier representative. Table 2 lists the contents of the
accessory kits.

INSTALLATION

1. Open and tag all electrical disconnects.
2. Open the unit control box door.
3. Locate the bag of screws and fuses (30RA-900---058
only) supplied with the accessory.
4. Remove transformer box cover. Save screws.
5. Verify correct primary connections are made.
NOTE: The 30RA-900---059 kits are shipped with cor-
rect wiring for 575 v. The 30RA-900---058 kits are
shipped with correct wiring for 460 v. Operation at 208/
230 v WILL
require a wiring change and change of pri-
mary fuses to FNQ-R-3

fuses are installed one way only. Make sure they are se-
cure in the fuse holder clips.

WARNING
Electrical shock can cause personal injury and death. Shut
off all power to this equipment during installation. There
may be more than one disconnect switch. Tag all discon-
nect locations to alert others not to restore power until work
is completed.
