NOTES:
1 Indoor air fan motors are single-phase motors of same voltage as unit except those with
FLA values shown in italics. These motors are 3-phase motors of same voltage as unit.
2 Min Ckt Amps and Max Fuse Amps values are per NEC
SERVICE
Return Air Grille Removal Loosen 2 screws
visible thru grille at upper and lower corner of one
side only. Slide grille side frame sideways off unit.
Slide grille sideways and pull away from unit.
Reassembly is the reversal of this procedure. See
Fig. 1.
Access Panel Removal — Remove return air grille as
described above. Remove remaining grille side
frame. Remove the now exposed panel fastening
screws.
TOP PANEL — Pull out and down.
BOTTOM PANEL — Pull out and up.

1. Sharp edges of evaporator сой fins are
exposed. To prevent arm injury, cover top
edge of evaporator witir a strip of cardboard
or a few layers of heavy tape,
2. To prevent damage to evaporator coil, cover
coil face with a piece of plywood or other
suitable rigid sheet materi^. If any coil fins
become inaslied or bent, straighten them
with a coil fm comb with 15 teeth/inch.
Check for refrigerant leaks.
Indoor Air Fan Motor Removal The motor
power wires need not be disconnected from motor
terminals before motor is to be removed from unit.
Motor may be extracted from unit while remaining
electrically connected. See Fig. 2. Proceed as
follows:
1. Shut off unit main power supply.
2. Eoosen motor from mounting bracket by
loosening motor hold-down bolts to slacken
and remove fan belt.
3. Loosen but do not remove the 2 motor
mounting bracket hold-down nuts on left side
of motor mounting bracket.
4. Remove the motor mounting bracket hold
down bolt on right side of motor mounting
bracket.
5. Slide motor assembly to the extreme right and
lift out thru space between fan scroll and unit
side frame. Rest motor on a high platform such
as a step ladder. Do not allow motor to hang by
its power wires.
6. Reinstallation of motor is the reverse of the
above procedure. Align pulleys and adjust belt
tension as described in Service, Pulley AUgn-
ment and Belt Tension.
